Those were our thoughts when we decided to build the ultimate fly reel, the Helios series. This machined aluminum frame and spool fit the demands of the most experienced fly fisherman. It's multi-disk waterproof drag and one way clutch bearing make this the jewel of the highly regarded Okuma lineup of fly reels. Available in five sizes.

Okuma Magnitude Fly Reel

Unbelievably light! the ultra-light Magnitude series by Okuma is one of the world's only
magnesium fly reels. This fresh-water range of both traditional and large arbor reels
weighs in at about half the weight of it's aluminum counterparts. The cast magnesium reels are treated with a fourcoat process for a durable and elegant powdercoat finish.

The MD range of traditional disc drags uses our venerable stainless steel and Teflon disc drag system. The drag is controlled by a one-way roller bearing which allows for drag free retrievals.

The ML range of large arbor reels feature Okuma's patented overbuilt, oversized stainless steel based disc drag. This amazing drag has little to no initial resistance with incredible highend drag pressure. Again, the drag is controlled by an oversized roller bearing allowing for drag free retrievals.

Okuma Integrity Fly Reel

Okuma's large arbor design gives faster line retrieval for a single action reel. Traditionally known as a "Specialty Reel" fished by Guides and more serious fly fisherman, the the Intregity, by Okuma, opens the world of large arbor fishing to everyone. The Integrity series features a unique patented, oversized stainless steelbased disc drag which has little to no initial resistance with incredible highend drag pressure. The drag is controlled by an oversized roller bearing allowing for high speed, drag free retrieval.
